Showered With Love! (Part 1)

If there is one thing that I have learned over the past 2 months, it's that Baby Poff is one loved little boy!!!!  Adam and I have been blessed with SIX wonderful and amazing baby showers!  We are so grateful for all of the love and support that we've been shown as we enter into the world of parenthood for the first time!

Louisville Shower-
Our baby shower adventure began in Louisville with a group of Adam's close friends!  This group of friends gets together pretty often, so the wives have all become pretty good friends as well!  The festivities began on Friday night as we celebrated Dave's birthday.  There were 4 (actually there were 5, but one person hadn't announced the big news yet!) pregnant ladies this year so Dave's party was a little different than it had been in the past!  (It was a glimpse into parties of the future!)  On Saturday everyone gathered at Dave and Mary Beth's again to watch the UK game and then celebrate Baby Poff!  It was a couple's shower, so it worked out perfectly that the guys could enjoy watching UK before we began the more girly things, like eating cake and opening presents!  Only two people at this shower were already parents, so it was fun to hear the reactions for some of the gifts from the rest of the group!  It was obvious that we all have a lot to learn about babies!!!!  The rest of the afternoon was filled with games, food, and lots of chatting!  Adam and I were enjoying ourselves so much that it was hard to leave that night, but we knew that we had to get home so we could rest up before doing it all over again on Sunday!  It was a wonderful way to kick off the spoiling of Baby Poff!
