For a three week old baby, he sure did get a ton of gifts for Easter! He had a total of 5 (yes 5!) Easter baskets this year! Each one was filled with such thoughtful things for Ethan (and some candy for mom and dad). His favorite Easter basket was made by his cousin Ashtyn. Ashtyn spent hours picking things out and putting his basket together! It was beautiful!!!!!
We spent Easter day at church and with Adam's family. I hadn't planned on Ethan being old enough to go to church on Easter so I didn't buy him an Easter outfit (I did have a basket for him though). When he came 10 days early I decided he would need something extra special to wear to church that day! I can tell that it's going to be a lot of fun dressing up a little one each year for Easter! I only hope that he stays cooperative as he gets older! After church we headed over to Adam's Grandmother's house for Easter lunch and an egg hunt. The entire time they were hunting for eggs I kept thinking about how much Ethan is going to enjoy the holidays next year!

On Friday I took Ethan to school for the first time! I planned it so that I could see my kids and still show him off to the teachers after school. My kids were at lunch when we got there, so we sat in the chair next to the calendar board and waited for them to come in. My sub entered the room first (and didn't see us). She told the kids to have a seat on the floor for calendar. It didn't take them long to notice two extra bodies in the room! They were so excited to see me and Ethan! I wanted them to all be able to see him, so I sent them back to their seats and I brought Ethan around for all of them to see. Of course he slept the entire time, so they didn't get to see his pretty eyes! Most of them didn't know what to say to him or me! They couldn't believe how little he was! Before they left we snapped a few pictures! After the kids had cleared out, the teachers came in. The teachers had a meeting they had to attend, so they didn't get to stay long. They all loved holding and seeing him! It was so good to be able to take him to see mommy's friends at school! I can't wait to go back for my team teacher's shower so they can all see him again!
