Water Baby

Ethan is definitely like his mommy...he loves the sun AND the water!!!!  A few weeks ago we celebrated our niece's second birthday.  One of her birthday presents was a fun blow up pool (Ethan and Abby are going to really have fun swimming in her pool next summer!).  Abby really wanted her cousin to go swimming with her, so we put his swim suit on and headed outside!

Abby didn't understand why Ethan couldn't do all of the things that she could, but she still had fun splashing his feet in the water!

The water was a little cold, and it was hard for Ethan to get too far in the pool, but he didn't cry so I would call his first "swim" a success!!!!  Abby's birthday is around Derby day, and in Kentucky that's a HUGE deal!  She had a princess/horse themed party!  One of her gifts was a boy baby doll, which she named "Ethan"!  Now she can play with her Ethan even when her cousin isn't around!

We had a great day celebrating a very special little girl!!!!  Next year's party is going to really be fun!  Ethan probably won't leave her side!
