19 Weeks

This week: The baby is about six and a half inches long (the size of a small cantaloupe) and weighs 10 ounces!  By now the baby's gender should be viewable via an ultrasound (ours is scheduled for next week!).  I'm pretty sure that I felt a few small movements this past week.  One time in particular was when Adam was talking to the baby!  I guess he/she was trying to let Daddy know that he/she can hear him!

Weight gain: +1, Total weight gain, +8.


How I'm feeling: I feel great!  I'm still a little tired, and not sleeping well, but I guess that's just par for the course.  It's hard to believe that this pregnancy is almost half way over!  This baby is going to be here before we know it!  We found out this weekend that some dear friends of ours are also expecting their first child!  He/she will be here in May (just a few weeks after baby Poff).  We are thrilled to have a playmate for our baby that will be so close in age!

This picture was too funny not to share.  Our friend, Adam, was dressed up as a male nurse.  In this picture he is pretending to catch my baby!
