This week: The baby is nine inches long (from crown to rump) and weighs more than a pound and a half! This week the baby's skin is becoming pinker. Blood vessels are also developing in his lungs and his nostrils are starting to unplug. Both of these things are getting him ready to breathe on his own once he is born!
Weight gain: +2, Total weight gain, +12. The doctor said that my weight gain still looks good, so I'm trying really hard to not stress about it!
How I'm feeling: I still feel great! This week we had our 24 week check up and I had to take the glucose test. It actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be! I still haven't heard the results, so I'm hoping that no news is good news! Everything looked great at the check up. His heart was beating around 146 bpm. The doctor said that everything looked great and he didn't have any concerns. He wants to do an ultrasound at my 28 week appointment to check the baby's development, so we get another chance to see our little sweetie!
