This week: The baby is eight and a half inches long (from crown to rump) and weighs a pound and a half! He is still moving like crazy! In the last day I have been able to start feeling him more than when I'm lying down! His movements are very obvious now! By now his face is almost fully formed, although his skin is very transparent and is lacking fat.
Weight gain: +0, Total weight gain, +10. This would have been a lot more if I hadn't been attacked with the stomach bug on Monday! I was extremely sick (although it only lasted about 24 hours, thankfully) and wasn't able to go to school! My little guy let me know that he didn't care for the way I was feeling by kicking my insides to death! Between him and the virus I didn't know if I was ever going to get any relief! I'm feeling much better now, and I'm sure it will only be a matter of time before I regain the weight that was lost due to sickness!
How I'm feeling: I still feel great! I feel so fortunate to have had such a wonderful pregnancy so far! Sometimes I feel so good I even forget that I'm pregnant! I am quickly reminded when I try to bend over, or when I pass by a mirror! I hope Baby Poff continues to make this pregnancy such a wonderful experience for his momma!
