14 Weeks

This week:  The baby is growing bigger each week.  By now he/she is as long as four and a half inches (the size of a navel orange), and weighs a little over 2 ounces.  The baby is also practicing breathing, sucking, and swallowing to prepare for life outside of my cozy belly!

Weight gain: Same as last week.  Total weight gain, +4.

How I'm feeling:  I'm feeling great this week!  I have lots of energy (that could be due to the fact that this is a short week and I'm leaving for Mexico on Sunday).  I've worn my maternity pants a few times this week.  I seem to get more comments on how cute my belly looks when I wear them!  They definitely make me look more pregnant than my regular pants (and they are so much more comfortable)!
