This week: The baby could be as long as 20 inches and weigh as much as 5 and a half pounds! Most of his growth now will be in weight, not length. The baby's brain power is also growing at an amazing pace these days! I'm hoping that he'll come out at least on a third grade level! He's heard enough third grade content this year to soar through third grade math!
Weight gain: +0, Total weight gain, +22.
How I'm feeling: I still feel great! I've learned that Valentine's parties have a whole new meaning when you're 34 weeks pregnant! Thank goodness I have so many wonderful parents that jumped in and made things so much easier! We had our 34 week appointment on Thursday and everything is still looking good! The doctor was pleased with my weight gain (or lack there of) and my blood pressure. He said the baby's heartbeat is around 147 bpm. He wants to start seeing me every week until the baby arrives. The nurse seemed a little surprised that he is wanting to start weekly appointments already! This makes me wonder if he might think I'll come a little early. I guess only time will tell!
