This week: The baby is still seventeen inches from head to toe and weighs about three pounds! This week the brain is taking on grooves and indentations, which will allow for an increased amount tissue. Also this week the baby's bone marrow has taken over production of red blood cells.
Weight gain: +0, Total weight gain, +18.
How I'm feeling: I still feel great! This baby is such an active little guy! I love being able to feel him all the time! Adam said that last night he felt him moving all night long! I hope this habit doesn't continue once he is born! Luckily I slept through all of the wiggling! Last week his bedding arrived! I love it in person even more than I did in the picture! We already have his crib, changing table, and glider. My mom and Adam's mom are coming down in a few weeks to paint the room for us! I can't wait to start putting the nursery together!
I have to end with this cute story from one of my students! She asked me how many more days, months, or years it would be until this baby is here! I love how they truly have no concept of time!!!
