5 Months Old

Weight-13 pounds 4 ounces (up from 12.5)

Clothes-mostly 3-6 months, but we still have a few 0-3 month outfits and onesies that we wear on a regular basis  (Anna is still in newborn shoes!  Her feet are so little!)

Diapers-size 1 (night time-size 2)

Eating-Every 3 hours.  Since I am nursing her we don't really know how much she is eating.  She still eats for about 8-10 minutes at a time.  She was doing really well with a bottle, but now that I'm off for the summer she's getting used to just being nursed!  For about the last week or so she has been waking up early for an extra feeding.  I think this is a sign that she's ready to start cereal, but I really want to hold off until we return from Mexico!

Sleep-Anna is sleeping between 11-12 hours at night!  She is also taking 2-3 naps a day.  The first two naps are usually around 1.5-2 hours.  She usually takes a cat nap in the evening for about 30 minutes.  She is great about taking naps when we are on the go too!  I have started pulling her car seat cover down and she usually goes right to sleep.  She's doing much better about sleeping while being held too.  

Other-Anna is such a happy baby!  She absolutely loves to be talked to!  She grins from ear to ear when you talk to her.  Her babysitter calls her Miss America because she smiles so much!  She also loves her thumb/fingers!  She almost always has one of them in her mouth!  She tends to favor her left thumb more than her right, but she still finds her right one plenty!  About two weeks ago she started rolling over from her back to her stomach.  I'm actually kind of surprised about this, because she doesn't really like to be on her belly!  She has also started sleeping on her side.  As soon as you lay her down she rolls right onto her side. We also introduced Anna to Sophie the Giraffe this month.  She loves chewing on her!  We have started putting her in her high chair while we are eating and she loves playing with toys on the tray.  She looks so big sitting at the table with the rest of us!
